EVERY DRIVER HAS A FIRST LAP
Cade Norton has always learned with his hands.
Long before racing became a real opportunity, he was taking apart dirt bikes, studying airsoft-gun internals, building a racing simulator and working on cars simply because he wanted to understand how everything worked.
For his 18th birthday, Cade participated in a Team Texas driving experience. What began as a few laps around the track led to an unexpected connection with the David Starr Racing family. David Starr is a 4 time Nascar champion who lives right here in Frisco, TX. Since then, Cade has been invited into their shop, where he has helped work on dirt race cars and NASCAR vehicles, learned alongside experienced racers and mechanics, and thanks to David's son DJ, Cade experienced his first laps in a dirt-track race car.
Now an opportunity has emerged to purchase a race car of his own.
We do not know exactly where this journey will lead. We do know that Cade is willing to work, learn, earn every opportunity and build something meaningful—one lap at a time.
